1. GENERAL FAQ's

 

Can I drive into the facility?

Yes. Absolute Storage has safe and convenient areas for you to load or off-load your belongings. 

 

Can I store hazardous or perishable materials?

We do not permit the storage of illegal, flammable, combustible, hazardous or dangerous materials of any type. Nor the storage of fresh produce or unstable materials.

 

Do I get charged to access my unit?

Absolutely not. You can access your unit 24/7, 365 days a year.

 

For what term do I have a contract with Absolute Storage?

Units are rented for a minimum of a month. Your rental period can be for as long as you require and can be extended by logging in to your account and click on the "My reserved units" link.

 

How do I calculate how much space I need?

Absolute Storage can assist you in determining the unit best suited to your needs. Our units are 3m high and when properly packed can accommodate much more than one might expect. This however depends if you need regular access to your goods and would prefer not to have to unpack the unit each time.

 

How many units of each dimension are available?

This varies depending on how many units have been reserved. Usually Absolute Storage has many different sizes to suit your needs. We advise you to plan ahead and reserve units in advance. See the reserve a unit link sub-categorised from small to large units.

 

Should I book a ground floor or first floor unit?

First floor units are Ideal for long term storage as they are cheaper. Ground floor units are Ideal for the person that requires regular access to their units.

 

What unit would I need?

Should you need access to your unit frequently it would be advisable to rent a ground floor unit. Should you only need access to your unit infrequently it would be advisable to rent the cheaper option of an first floor unit. There is also an option to rent a high security unit.

 

2. PAYMENTS

 

How do I pay?

We prefer you use our secure online payment method via credit card or electronic transfer.Credit card payments give you immediate access to your unit. Electronic payments must be confirmed in 72 hours or the unit will not be reserved. 

 

 

3. RESERVATIONS OR BOOKINGS

 

For how long can i keep a unit?

We will keep a unit specially for you for as long as you renew it in time. To renew a unit, you must just pay for it again at least 15 days before the start of a new month for which you have not paid yet. If you fail to pay for it the unit will become resellable and you might loose the right to renew the unit. 


How can I be sure that no other persons will enter my unit?

You lock and keep the key! This means that you control who can access to your storage unit. Because you supply your own lock and key to your storage unit. We recommend that you use a good quality medium or large sized lock to ensure that only you can open it. 


What does renew reservation mean?

When you pay up until a certain date for a unit, the reservation is renewed until that time.
